    From a very young age I didn’t like taking medication. At the age of 12 I would get heartburn from drinking orange so I knew it wasn’t good for me. When I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and was told I’d have to take medication it didn’t sit right with me.

    So I decided to look for an alternative, something more natural and I went to a chiropractor. She was a great help but I was still struggling with an overwhelming tiredness which made looking after 3 kids a struggle, and I seemed to ache all over with pain.

    I met a Kinesiologist one day and I got an appointment. I made the suggested dietary changes and after 6 weeks of clean eating, my bowels that hadn’t worked properly for years started to work better without medication. I also started to sleep better at night and feel less anxious and worried.

    I decided to learn more by joining the Balanced Health Course and over the following 2 years I also completed the Diploma as well as a course leadership training. I have experienced so much while I was learning Systematic Kinesiology and how to handle my own stress. I’ve overcome fears and phobias and most of all learned to love myself as I really am.

    One amazing story I’d like to share is about my husband that was diagnosed with over active thyroid years ago. He was taking medication every day but the doctors couldn’t get the thyroid to stabilise, and his medication was changed so often that they decided it would be a good idea to give him a radiation tablet. This upset me so much as he would be live from the radiation and couldn’t be allowed near myself and our children. While I started training on the Balanced Health Course he decided to book an appointment with the course leader. To this day he is taking what she prescribed, he has had numerous blood tests since and they all show to a normal thyroid function. He hasn’t looked back and that is almost 2 years ago.

    Systematic Kinesiology has changed me and my family’s lives. This is why I’m glad I made that first step to call Siobhan and start the Balanced Health Course.
